Booking

Tours are sold by Xploring Rome S.r.l., a licensed tour operator (SCIA n. QA/2026/58246), through the booking calendar on this website. A booking is confirmed when you receive the confirmation email. Every tour is private: only the guests in your booking are on board.

Vehicles take up to 7 guests (golf carts) or up to 4 guests (Model T), not counting the driver. For bigger groups we combine vehicles: contact us before booking.

Prices and payment

• Prices are per person, in euro, and are the same whatever the size of your group. Children pay half price; the age limits are shown in the calendar for each tour and infants sit on an adult's lap.
• Pay cash to your driver: you pay a 20% deposit by card when booking and the balance in cash (euro) to the driver on the day. Cards are not accepted on board.
• Pay online now: you pay the whole tour by card when booking.
• The booking system adds a 1.5% booking fee at checkout, shown before you pay.
• Entry tickets are included only where the tour page says so (for example the Trevi Fountain ticket, or the catacombs entry on the Catacombs tour). Food and drinks on the Food & Wine tour are paid on the spot.

Cancellation

• More than 24 hours before the start: free cancellation, full refund of what you paid, deposit included.
• Less than 24 hours before, or no-show: the full price of the tour is due and is not refunded.
• If we have to cancel (for example for a vehicle fault or a public event that closes the center), we offer you another time or a full refund.
• The tour runs in the rain: every vehicle has rain covers. Rain is not a reason for a refund.

On the tour

• Be ready at the pick-up point at the start time; we confirm the exact spot by WhatsApp or email after booking. If your street is pedestrian-only, the driver waits at the closest point a vehicle can reach.
• The route can change for traffic, ceremonies and public events; the driver always finds the best alternative.
• The vehicles are not wheelchair accessible. Children are welcome; a folding stroller can be carried.
• Please stay seated while the vehicle is moving and follow the driver's instructions.

Liability

The Company carries the insurance required by Italian law for passenger transport and tourist services. It is not liable for delays or changes caused by events beyond its control, such as traffic, weather, strikes or closures ordered by the authorities, nor for belongings left in the vehicle.

Right of withdrawal

Our tours are leisure services booked for a specific date and time. Under Article 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to them. You can still cancel for free up to 24 hours before the tour, as described above.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. Consumers resident in the European Union keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their own country. If something goes wrong, write to us first: we answer every complaint within 14 days. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence has jurisdiction; in all other cases, the courts of Rome.
